Up for sale is an exceptional, authentic mid-century modern American Colonial Revival solid cherry wood harvest dining table designed under the direction of Leopold Stickley. Manufactured in 1960 by L. & J.G. Stickley, Inc. in Fayetteville, N.Y., this pristine piece perfectly blends historic American craftsmanship with mid-century space-saving utility.
Condition & Pre-Owned Disclosure
* Vintage Authenticity: Please note that this is a pre-owned, vintage item from 1960.
* Expectations: It is not in brand-new or flawless factory condition. It shows minor cosmetic surface wear, superficial scratches, and subtle signs of use consistent with its 60+ year history and careful historic preservation.
* Structural Integrity: The table is structurally sound, rock-solid, and exceptionally sturdy. The drop-leaf joints and underlying support mechanisms function perfectly without any functional defects. It retains a rich, beautiful honeyed wood patina.
Authentication & Markings
The underside features complete, undisturbed original factory documentation verifying its provenance:
* The iconic "A Leopold Stickley Original" silhouette label dated 1960 (the final production year under Leopold's lifetime leadership).
* The original paper "Important Instructions" care and finish maintenance tag.
* The permanent, genuine Stickley heat-brand shopmark stamped directly into the solid cherry wood.
Design & Versatility
Crafted from premium solid cherry wood with a gorgeous, warm amber-toned finish that highlights a rich, tight wood grain. This classic harvest table features an ultra-narrow profile with double drop leaves and elegant turned legs.
* Leaves Down: Functions beautifully as a space-saving console table, sofa table, or narrow hall entry table.
* Leaves Up: Fully extends into an expansive, long dining room table that comfortably accommodates large family gatherings.
