This Mid-20th century Turkish Anatolian room-size carpet presents a bold compartmentalized composition arranged in four balanced panels. Each section centers a large octagonal medallion in coral red, warm brown, taupe, and muted gray, detailed with stylized floral forms, angular leaves, and small geometric accents. Pendant extensions emphasize the vertical orientation of each medallion, while the pale beige ground provides strong contrast. Deep black corner reserves contain vivid red hooked motifs and small abstract figures, adding drama and rhythmic movement throughout the field. Narrow dark dividing bands separate the panels and reinforce the architectural structure of the design. Tiny ivory, yellow, and soft pink highlights enliven the earthy palette without disturbing its disciplined symmetry. The carpet’s strong geometry, saturated coloring, and distinctive folk-modern character make it well suited to a living room, dining room, library, or eclectic contemporary interior seeking bold pattern and visual presence.
