Small studio pottery vase made by Karin and Walther Zander in Germany in 1977. The rounded bottle form is finished in a charcoal-black crystalline glaze with dark blue undertones. Fine circular crystal markings add depth to the satin surface.
Karin and Walther Zander worked together from the 1960s and are known for their precisely formed vessels and carefully developed glazes.
Incised monogram and dated “77” beneath the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
