Limited-edition porcelain vase designed by Natale Sapone for Rosenthal Studio-Line in 1971. Part of the artist’s “Bewegung” series, the cylindrical white vase is decorated with interlocking geometric forms in turquoise, red, cobalt blue, green, and black. The continuous pattern creates a strong sense of optical rhythm and movement.
Natale Sapone was an Italian-born painter, sculptor, and designer known for geometric abstraction, vibrant colour, and compositions influenced by movement and Op Art. His limited editions for Rosenthal translated this graphic visual language into three-dimensional porcelain objects.
Produced as model 2825 in an edition of 400 pieces, this example is numbered 69/400 and signed beneath the rim. The base bears the Rosenthal Studio-Line manufacturer’s mark. This piece has an attribution mark,
