Included frame: 65 x 78.5 cm Hand-signed in pencil on the lower right. Numbered on lower left. Edition 38/100. Provenance: Sailer Gerhard Galerie, Innsbruck, Austria (label on the back). In excellent conditions. The artwork represents a figurative composition where there are sketches by the author of human heads and architectural elements appear. One of the constant elements of Fritz Wotruba's work is, in fact, a constant interest in the human figure and the strong architectural value of his plastic creations. Fritz Wotruba (April 23, 1907 in Vienna – August 28, 1975 in Vienna) was an Austrian sculptor of Czecho-Hungarian descent. He was considered one of the most notable sculptors of the 20th century in Austria. In his work, he increasingly dissolves figurative components in favor of geometrical abstraction. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
