The aged metal housing retains its original patina with traces of wear, oxidation and chipped enamel, giving the piece a powerful utilitarian character. The large reflector produces a warm atmospheric glow, while the solid oak tripod with black metal fittings allows the lamp to stand securely and creates an impressive sculptural presence.
