A smart and very well made antique Victorian walnut open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1870-1890 period.
The quality is superb, this is unusually tall for this type of model, and it contains lots of storage space. This sits on a plinth base, it has four adjustable shelves that sit on shark teeth supports. The walnut grain patterns and colour tones and beautiful throughout.
This is in excellent condition for its age, we have had it re-polished. There is just some minor old wear here and there remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
