Each upper cabinet is fitted with two removable shelves, with one additional shelf in the lower cupboard. All three shelves have carved plate grooves for displaying plates, chargers, and platters. Ingeniously, the shelves are reversible—simply turn one upside down and it becomes a completely flat shelf, ideal for glassware, serving pieces, books, or decorative objects.
