Eight large octagonal medallions appear in two vertical columns, each rendered in warm taupe and framed by stepped bands of ivory, orange, burgundy, pale blue, and black. Their central cruciform devices introduce crisp architectural detail, while the repeated arrangement creates a steady rhythm suited to the elongated format. A narrow crimson inner border, punctuated by small multicolored squares, encloses the field and adds lively contrast.
