A Symbolist painting of Judith by Landgrebe. A subject often depicted with awe and astonishment because of the story of sex and violence involved. The figure lends itself to many understandings of the Femme Fatale. Painted in the dramatic twilight and faint shades. The painting is on stretched canvas, unframed, and signed to the top right edge.
