Vintage Mid-Century Modern Hand Carved Mexican Onyx and Marble Bookends. Featuring geometric fluted pillars and contrasting dark carved Aztec or Mayan tribal faces.
Crafted from polished natural banded onyx showing cream, honey-amber, and grey marbling combined with dark, layered stone figural carvings. Highly popular mid-century exports, most commonly hand-chiseled in Mexico during the 1960s and 1970s.
