Pair of Ben Seibel for Jenfred-ware Brass "Flame" Bookends (c.1950).
Ben Seibel (1918–1985) was an acclaimed mid-century designer celebrated for bringing organic, flowing, and sculptural art directly into the home via everyday tabletop decor and dinnerware.
Produced as part of a highly collectible collaboration with Jenfred-Ware.
They feature an expressive, biomorphic teardrop geometry with a distinct contrasting textured dark inner core and polished brass-plated outer accents detailed with recessed circular accents.
Due to age & wear, the tip of one end is slightly knicked, otherwise in good condition with green felt bottom still attached.
