The central shaped mirror is surrounded by open carved decoration, while multiple aged brass hooks provide functional storage for coats and hats.

A projecting serpentine-front shelf sits above a single storage drawer with brass knob, creating a convenient landing place for keys and other small items. The lower portion incorporates an open shelf with unusual inset mirrored corner panels and delicate turned supports. Small gilt floral medallions provide subtle decorative accents to the dark reddish-brown wood.

At 84 inches tall, the piece has considerable presence while its relatively shallow 14.5-inch depth makes it particularly well suited to an entry hall, foyer, mudroom or dressing area where a full-depth piece of furniture would be impractical.
