Beautifully framed, antique engraving "Vue du Temple de Vénus et du château du Petit Trianon dans le Grand Parc de … Read more Beautifully framed, antique engraving "Vue du Temple de Vénus et du château du Petit Trianon dans le Grand Parc de Versailles", depicting the grounds during the royal visit of Louis XVIII and the Duke and Duchess of Angoulême circa 1815-1827. It was drawn by Henri Courvoisier-Voisin and engraved by Michon, hand colored.. This was purchased in silvered/gold gilt frame with exquisite matting featuring gold and silver fillet, in Paris in mid 1970's. Framed under glass . The framed size 19 3/4 " wide X 15" high X 3/4" Deep. There is discoloration and damage on matting lower left side, it has been in this condition since it was purchased (see last two photos) Wear to gilded frame commensurate with age. See less
