A charming vintage Yugoslavian table lamp crafted in brilliant 24% lead crystal, featuring an unusually sculptural floral-form crystal shade paired with its coordinating flared crystal base.
The shade is the highlight of the design, formed with alternating clear and frosted crystal panels that resemble overlapping flower petals. Deep molded and cut details catch and refract the light, while the frosted sections softly diffuse the illumination. When lit, the shade takes on a warm glow that beautifully emphasizes its dimensional petal pattern.
The coordinating clear crystal base features vertical fluting and a dramatically flared, scalloped foot with repeating petal-like details, visually echoing the floral construction of the shade. Brass-tone metal hardware and an elongated decorative finial complete the design.
An identical example retaining its original Yugoslavian label identifies this design as hand-cut 24% lead crystal made in Yugoslavia, supporting the attribution of this lamp.
