Much of the texture and pattern consists of thousands of tiny engraved dots and half moons. The color and texture of this tin-covered copper tray is more matte than shiny, resembling pewter. Often these trays are finished with a dark powder or charcoal rubbed into the grooves to create contrast. In this case, there is no darkening powder, resulting in a more delicate and lacy effect. A small hanging bracket on the back provides easy wall display. See less
