We are selling this fine portrait of a Young Girl. This oil on millboard painting features a young girl, well modeled, with flowing brown hair. We believe this to be after “Gretel” by Ferdinand Strauss, or from within his circle. The painting is housed in a later giltwood Florentine frame with losses and repairs. The painting appears to be late 19th century and the frame mid 20th century.
Condition: Painting has some re-touching and surface wear. Frame has repairs and losses.
