You can still see the hinges on it! Classic and lovely Chinoiserie design. It is square in shape. I cannot tell if it is a dark blue or black background, and gold and red colors. There is a harp and a finial. It works. Note the measurements below are for the lamp from top to bottom and at the widest part, of which the base is slightly larger. The actual square part of the body, which is the tin, is 6 1/2" square x 9 3/4" tall. The metal base is 1 5/8" tall. See less
