This painting contains all the elements of the artist's labyrinth. This places the value much higher than some of his other paintings. This contains the eye, snake and arrows. This is a fabulous oil on canvas by listed artist Walter Gaudnek dated 1963 titled 'Sun Dial'. Gaudnek has been one of the main representatives of pop art since the 1970s. He is considered the only artist within pop art to also deal with religious topics. He was a Christian but had many philosophical views. He is known for labyrinth installations of colorful canvases. His pieces from the 1960s are the most popular. He has about 17 auction records and his work has a good track record of sales up to $5900. This is a great piece for a lover of Modern art. SIGNED BOTTOM RIGHT AND DATED.
