The two vignette panels depict ladies socializing in a traditional garden landscape. Alternating panels show oversized peonies, lotus blossoms and winding foliage. In addition to the interlocking "double cash" pierced cutouts for prosperity, it has raised accent studs that mimic drum rivets at borders at both the top and bottom.

Versatile and functional piece as an indoor accent side table, plant pedestal or statement piece for a covered patio.

Likely place of manufacture is Hong Kong circa 1960s-1980s. Marking features a iron-red stamped four character imprint on the underside (commemorative 20th-century production).
