A magnificent French or Italian Antique Compote Candlestick Stand for two candles with a decorative brass tray in the middle. This heavy and highly decorative candle holder is made from a mixture of marble and brass metal, and as can be seen by photos, was once an electric light fitting which has had its wires stripped and just the holes to thread the wire remain; it can therefore be used as a rather splendid candle holder.

Condition: There is a piece of black marble missing on side - an easy repair. I included 2 period brass bobeshes so they match. Overall good used vintage/antique condition with the expected age-related wear such as some chips from the marble (see photos as examples).
