Beautiful antique Edwardian carved wood cabinet, likely originally designed as a purdonium or coal cabinet. Features a richly finished wood case with an ornate hand-carved floral and foliate front panel, decorative carved gallery, and elaborate brass drop hardware. The tilt-out front opens to reveal the original metal-lined interior compartment. A charming and versatile antique piece that can also be repurposed as a bedside cabinet, accent table, or decorative storage piece.

Condition
Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Surface scratches, scuffs, marks, finish wear, and age-related imperfections are present throughout. There is separation to the top wood panel and a small damaged/chipped area near the upper side/gallery, as shown in the photos. The metal interior shows age and wear. Original casters and brass hardware remain present. Overall, the piece retains a beautiful aged patina and antique character.
