The deconstructed French barrel-back chair by Restoration Hardware
Restoration Hardware celebrates the raw beauty of classical craftsmanship by turning traditional furniture design completely inside out.
The Art of the Unfinished Inspired by 19th-century French provincial seating, this statement piece intentionally exposes its foundational elements.
By leaving the inner mechanics on full display, it creates a striking juxtaposition of rugged texture and refined silhouette.
Product Highlights Exposed Frame:
Handcrafted solid oak framework showcases visible joinery and raw carpentry.
Industrial Backing:
Genuine coarse burlap upholstery anchored by classic upholstery tacks and heavy-duty stitching.
Premium Comfort: Enveloping barrel-back design paired with rich, supple distressed leather seating.
Architectural Accent:
A versatile anchor piece that bridges modern minimalism, rustic farmhouse, and industrial chic styles.
Bring home an artifact of design history—stripped of pretense, rich in character.
