Vintage Douglas Furniture Co. of Chicago dining set. Includes 3 chairs with steel frames and brown vinyl (faux leather) upholstery and dining table with steel frame and wood patterned Formica top. The attention to detail is apparent with the vinyl appliqués on the steel bases of the chairs made to resemble wood grain to the inlay design on the table top. This heavy steel frame set is a perfect exemplar of transitional mid century furniture and is sure to be a fantastic addition to your space.
Table is a subtle oval shape that stands about 29” tall and about 41” in circumference. It is slightly longer (41.75”) than wide (41.25”).
Chairs are 35” tall x 24” wide x 22” deep.
Items are in vintage used condition with some scuffs and scrapes along the table edges and a small stain on the Formica top. The seats are in good condition with no tears or scratches to the upholstery. One has a few small stains on the back. The chairs also retain most of the original labels.

The seats are in good condition with no tears or scratches to the upholstery. One has a few small stains on the back. The chairs also retain most of the original labels, although some of the paper on the bottom of the chairs is torn. There are wood grain appliqués on each of the four legs of the chairs. Those are in good condition without tears. However, the adhesive is disengaging a little at the corners of the appliqués, which is consistent with the age of the item. less
