Standing an impressive 13.5 inches tall with a robust 29-inch circumference, 9.25” across and 4.25” across the bottom, this heavily potted globular bottle vase serves as a magnificent tabletop centerpiece or shelf statement piece. The vase features a mesmerizing, glass-like Yaobian (kiln transmutation) glaze. A brilliant, milky cobalt-lavender blue cascades down the body in dense, finely textured vertical striations—often celebrated by collectors as a "hare's fur" or feathered effect. This vibrant blue contrasts beautifully with rich, dripping streaks of deep oxblood and plum red. The elegant, tapering neck transitions into a warm cream-and-amber glaze featuring a fine, intentional crackle matrix. The underside bears a crisp, four-character cobalt blue apocryphal seal mark for the Xuantong Emperor (Xuantong Nian Zhi). This piece is a high-quality mid-to-late 20th-century artistic revival of classic Qing Dynasty imperial glaze techniques, showcases spectacular kiln chemistry, and remains in excellent vintage condition.
