This is a finely detailed and unique Chinese Peking glass snuff bottle shaped like an eggplant. This piece features deep multi-color layer (dual-overlay) carving, where a vibrant red bird and matching flowers are sculpted directly over rich blue leaves.
The white glass body is fully decorated with a hand-cut basketweave pattern.
The mouth of the bottle clearly displays the distinct fused glass layers of white, blue, and red.
Includes a carved natural agate stone top with a hand-shaped horn or bone spoon.
