This distinctive table features a beautifully formed walnut frame surrounding an inset glass top, supported by dramatically curved legs that sweep inward and intersect beneath the table. A small brass-toned medallion at the center provides a subtle decorative accent and emphasizes the geometric construction of the base.

The combination of warm walnut, transparent glass and the highly architectural base gives the table an unusually light and sculptural presence. It is a particularly strong example of American Mid-Century Modern furniture design and works beautifully as an end table, side table or occasional table.

The Lane Silhouette collection is sometimes incorrectly attributed to Adrian Pearsall because of its pronounced sculptural qualities; however, the collection is documented as a design by Andre Bus for Lane Furniture.
