Often associated with the designs of Russell Woodard, the set features beautifully formed polished metal construction with wide vertical straps sweeping outward to create both the barrel-shaped chair frames and distinctive flared pedestal bases. The matching table base repeats the same architectural form, creating an especially cohesive and dramatic five-piece ensemble.

Each of the four armchairs swivels on its pedestal base and features upholstered seat and back cushions. The round smoked glass tabletop provides a wonderful contrast against the highly reflective polished metal framework.

The design has a strong Space Age quality characteristic of American modern furniture of the 1960s and 1970s and works equally well in a Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency or eclectic contemporary interior.
