Hand-blown in richly colored glass, each vase features an elongated neck rising from a full, rounded body wrapped in dynamic spiraling bands of color.
The decoration combines vivid turquoise and blue tones with yellow, black, red, and white linear ribbons that twist continuously around each vessel. The tightly controlled spiral pattern creates a strong sense of movement and gives the pair a particularly graphic presence characteristic of postwar Italian art glass.
Although conceived as a pair, the two vases are not precisely identical in height: one measures 14.75 inches while the other measures 14.5 inches.
