Art Nouveau stoneware vase / signed Gresmor in a Japonisme style.
The name of the ceramist/workshop is not well documented but is mentioned in P. Arthur's book "Art Nouveau Ceramics".
Ceramic vase with an ovoid body and cylindrical neck.
The surface is entirely covered with a very rich and irregular decoration, dominated by rust-brown, terracotta, copper, beige, cream, and mauve tones. The glaze displays numerous variations in texture and color, with lighter, almost whitish areas that appear to overlay a brown and copper background.
The color transitions are intentionally irregular, giving the piece a cloudy appearance.
