Crafted from solid teak in the 1960s, its open compartments offer ample space for books, ceramics, and cherished finds. The precisely executed dovetail joints along the edges are particularly impressive. They securely connect the top and sides, making the handcrafted construction a visible design detail. The shelves are height-adjustable and feature a groove in the center, allowing them to slide directly onto the shelf supports. This conceals the supports completely, ensuring the clean lines remain uninterrupted by visible hardware. The small shelf supports fit snugly in their holes and may need to be gently tapped into place with a hammer when repositioning the bookcase.

These shelves are a tight fit and may require careful tapping with a hammer. The bookshelf is in very good, refurbished condition with minor signs of age-related wear.
