Extra Large Vintage Blue Bohemian Cut Crystal Centerpiece Basket
An impressive extra-large vintage Bohemian lead crystal centerpiece basket, crafted in rich blue cut-to-clear crystal and raised on a substantial clear diamond-cut base.
The deep bowl features an elegant overhead handle and is beautifully decorated throughout with a variety of traditional hand-cut patterns. The intense blue crystal contrasts wonderfully with the clear cut sections, allowing the light to catch the numerous facets and highlighting the quality and weight of the piece.
with its generous proportions and substantial weight of over 3.5 kg, this is a particularly striking decorative object. It stands beautifully on its own as a sculptural centerpiece, while the deep bowl also makes it suitable for displaying flowers or creating an elaborate table arrangement.
A wonderful example of decorative Bohemian crystal craftsmanship and an eye-catching statement piece for a dining table, console, sideboard, or display cabinet.
The piece is in excellent vintage condition.
