The wide frame forms a low, softly rounded wall around the sleeping surface, making the bed feel noticeably more spacious than its mattress width would suggest. Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, the name evokes the relaxed atmosphere of a Brazilian beach, a feeling reflected in the form. The heathered gray fabric, with its subtle salt-and-pepper texture, lends the clean geometry precisely the textile warmth it needs. The entire structure is supported by flat metal runners that almost disappear beneath the upholstery—the bed appears to rest directly on the floor. This grounded appearance is what gives it its serene character.
