its surface is a deliberate composition of contrasting materials and colors. Granite-like mineral textures meet deep volcanic black and warm raw ochre, while every sharply defined plane reflects light differently. From one angle it appears almost monolithic; from another, the contrasting surfaces reveal an entirely new composition.
