Made by Elchinger Ceramics, a manufacturer deeply rooted in Alsatian pottery tradition, it features an absolutely charming hand-painted decoration on its sides: rectangles colored in yellow, ochre, turquoise blue, and green, crossed by black lines and small arrows that evoke both tribal art and the cheerful graphic style of the 1950s. Its flared shape is quite characteristic of this era when ceramics were both popular and inventive.
