This is a 1968 Royal Delft hand-painted ceramic plate commemorating the Apollo 8 mission, titled "First Men Around the Moon".
Design: Features the astronauts' names (Frank Borman, James Lovell, William Anders), the mission dates 21-12 to 27-12, 1968), and illustrations of the Earth and Moon.
Manufacturer: Produced by Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) in the Netherlands.
Features: Includes holes on the back for a hanging wire.
Size: 7” round
This is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
