This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian wide gallery runner presents a graphic composition arranged in paired rows of dark octagonal forms across a taupe field. Each pair is linked by a narrow diagonal connector and centered by a compact cross-like device in ivory, coral, pink, brown, or grey. The repeated sequence creates a strong vertical rhythm, while subtle shifts in tone distinguish each row and add visual variety. Fine red outlines sharpen selected compartments, and the darker palette of charcoal, black, brown, and deep blue gives the design a commanding architectural presence. A narrow brown border frames the field with a continuous procession of hooked, abstract motifs in ivory, pink, red, and blue. Rooted in Anatolian village weaving traditions, the runner combines disciplined geometry with expressive color placement. Its generous width and exceptional length make it especially effective in expansive hallways, galleries, or long seating areas.
