Beautiful and colorful vintage Murano hand blown green and white twisting ribbons Italian art glass paperweight. The piece is documented to the Fratelli Toso company. This type of paperweight is often referred to as a "Crown" paperweight by collectors. This is because it has a Millefiori flower cane at the top, a crown. The flower murrine is made with dark pink-purple and white. The green and white ribbons create a nice alternating pattern. There is an original import label on the side. It is worn, but still attached to the paperweight. It says "An Original Creation KB Made in Italy" in the shield shaped label. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, desk or coffee table. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 3" across x 2 1/2" tall.
