The pair includes “Family Portrait,” numbered 159/300, depicting an artist painting a family portrait in an autumn woodland setting, and “Imprimeur Lithographe,” numbered 138/300, a wonderfully detailed scene outside a French lithography shop.

Boilauges’ distinctive naïve style is full of character, with period figures, architectural details and a warm palette of ochre, olive, rust and cream. The two works are especially appealing displayed together and make a substantial wall grouping.

Both are presented under glass with wide neutral fabric mats and matching warm gold-toned vintage frames.

Condition:
The artwork is in very good vintage condition. The vintage frames have been lightly cosmetically touched up and retain age-appropriate scuffs, finish variation and signs of use. Please review photographs for frame condition.
