A 22k … Read more This gorgeous spiral ring is designed by Gurhan as part of the Rain Collection and is completely handmade. A 22k gold thick wire was hand-hammered and then twisted to form a spiral shape. On both ends, the ring culminates in a 1.5 mm bezel set diamond. We love high karat gold—and when it is hand-hammered, we love it even more! This great design spirals up the finger elegantly, with light catching on all the facets of the hand-hammered gold.

Gurhan Orhan is a Turkish designer known for pioneering the resurgence of 24k gold craftsmanship. Using tools reminiscent of the Anatolian and Byzantine eras, each Gurhan piece is handmade through labor intensive processes; in Gurhan’s pieces, one square inch of gold may bear over 1000 hammer strokes, which strengthens the 24k gold. Gurhan’s designs are often inspired by ancient coins, micro mosaics, and rare gemstones. The Lush Collection was introduced in the late 1990’s. The collection is ever-evolving as new pieces are introduced to the collection each year.

The ring weighs 5.87 grams. It spans 13/16” on the finger. The ring is custom made and is marked on the inside with the serial # R01941C.490
