Titled France - Croisière aux Antilles - 19 Février 1964, the design commemorates the ship’s first commercial Caribbean cruise on February 19, 1964. The bold, streamlined composition-with the monumental black hull set against a vivid blue sky-shows the influence of Art Deco-era ocean-liner graphics. Signed in the image “Ciganer” at the lower right and produced for the French Line (Compagnie Générale Transatlantique). Framed size: 23" W x 39" H. See less
