This is a partner's desk, meaning it's the exact same, front and back. Both sides are mirror opposites and feature three drawers with intricately carved gargoyle handles and a cubby with carved bird and florals on the front. This desk is built to hold center court in any space. It commands attention, both for its drama and craftsmanship. It's a real statement piece ... sure to garner attention no matter where it's displayed.

There is no maker's mark that I can find, but this desk certainly has the hallmarks of R.J. Horner in the heavily carved details.

It's in good condition with virtually no scratches or damage to the wood. The top, in particular, is impressive with only light scuffing on one corner (as pictured). There is a small gap near the drawers on one side (also pictured), which makes the drawers a little tight on that side, but they still open and close with no problem. One of the cabinets is locked shut, and there is no key included. But I believe this would be an easy fix (especially if you have a handful of antique skeleton keys at hand). Otherwise, in really remarkable condition with only light wear and no significant damage. It feels solid and stable, not loose or in need of tightening.

Desk measures 56" long, 34" deep and 32" tall. See less
