The jug features an ash or alkaline-based reduction glaze that creates a rich, metallic grey-green surface with glossy pooling around the eyes, nose, and deep brow wrinkles. It displays intense, expressive sculpted eyes with dark pupils, a long prominent nose, large stylized ears, and an open mouth showcasing individually rendered white clay teeth.
