The design is classically linear: three rectangular shelves stacked on top of each other, supported by four continuous, angular legs.

Each shelf is surrounded by a low gallery that prevents items from sliding off. The construction is unadorned, relying on its proportions and the natural color of the wood.

The stand has been restored, refinished with shellac, and is ready for use.
