According to muller: an art deco four-light chandelier, dating from the 1920s-1930s, combining an elegant patinated wrought iron frame with three large molded glass globes.
the frame features a slender design composed of long iron rods joined at the top by stylized scrolls and volutes.
three broadly arched arms frame the central light, giving the whole a particularly balanced silhouette.
the four pressed molded glass globes, of varying sizes, are decorated in high relief with a lavish floral and vegetal motif, composed of stylized foliage, flowers, and fruit.
the larger central globe forms the focal point of the composition.
when lit, the glass diffuses a warm light and particularly highlights the depth of the molded decoration.
