Degué: a substantial art nouveau wrought iron chandelier, dating from the early 20th century, featuring an elegant naturalistic design inspired by the vine.
the patinated wrought iron frame is suspended by three long arms and arranged around a large central bowl.
the band is richly decorated with vine leaves, bunches of grapes, and tendrils, while the side arms terminate in wide scrolls.
the light fixture is fitted with a large central marbled glass bowl and three matching conical shades.
the glass shades display beautiful mottled hues in beige, violet, brown, and orange tones, which are particularly warm when the chandelier is lit.
the upper rosette, also crafted with a vegetal motif, harmoniously completes the composition.
