the lamp features three gracefully positioned adjustable shades mounted on a slender crossed tripod frame, creating a striking architectural silhouette.
the combination of black lacquered metal, refined brass accents and the asymmetrical composition is characteristic of italian lighting design from the late 1950s and early 1960s. Comparable italian lamps from this period are often attributed to manufacturers such as stilnovo or arteluce, although no maker’s mark is present on this example.
