This elegant low-profile porcelain piece measures 8.75 inches in diameter and features a sculptural circular design with delicately modeled dimensional flowers and foliage surrounding the perimeter. The raised center creates a wonderful architectural quality, while the open floral design was created for arranging individual flower stems.

The underside is clearly marked with the Hutschenreuther lion trademark and “1814,” along with:

The underside also retains its original Lorenz Hutschenreuther Kunstabteilung paper factory label, along with an additional period label bearing handwritten production/model notations.

“Kunstabteilung,” translating to Art Department or Art Division, identifies the piece with Hutschenreuther’s decorative art porcelain production rather than the company’s more utilitarian tableware lines.
