Four paneled doors create a continuous garden scene populated by traditionally dressed figures, flowering plants, bamboo, trees, mountains, and architectural details.

Intricate gilt-painted borders and geometric lattice patterns frame each decorative panel, while Asian-style metal escutcheons and circular pulls complete the façade. The shaped front gives this cabinet an especially graceful silhouette. A protective glass top preserves additional figural and landscape decoration across the upper surface.

The cabinet is vintage and unmarked; maker and exact date of manufacture are unknown. Excellent vintage condition. The cabinet is sturdy and structurally sound, with all four doors and interior shelving functioning properly. The black lacquer finish, gilt decoration, raised mother-of-pearl figures, hardware, and protective glass top are exceptionally well preserved. No significant losses, cracks, or repairs observed.
