An exceptional, heirloom-grade mid-century luxury extension dining table crafted by the historic Karges Furniture Company. This stunning 1960s French Regency / Louis XVI style piece features a brilliantly book-matched, banded burled walnut top with a splayed grain motif.
The elegant oval silhouette is elevated by a hand-painted, cream-lacquered and gold-gilt apron perimeter, supported by four tapered, fluted neoclassical legs. This structural configuration maximizes guest legroom compared to a traditional central double-pedestal base.
Includes one (1) matching 18-inch extension leaf that integrates seamlessly, maintaining perfectly flush grain alignment. Authentic Karges maker's mark and stamp are preserved and clearly visible on the structural underside.
